Lovely Geico

This world is full of advertisements, it is hard to find a favorite one, but I have one that I pay attention to every time it shows on TV. This is for three reasons: it is a funny advertisement with a small and lovely lizard for a main actor, it is easy to remember, and everybody loves him.
Such a lovely creature! Six-inch green computer animated lizard that talks with British accent and walks on two legs like a human being, makes me laugh every time when I see him on the TV. He is the one who talks to other animal and explains to them how they need to spread information that Geico Company is amazing because of great insurance. He talks with people trying to convince them that Geico insurance company is the best choice, because they offer discount and best insurance for the car: ’’hey….. . You can have a free money if you just stand up from the chair…are you going to sit on the chair if I offering you money free?’’ The way how he talks is comical, because while he talks he is pointing with his finger to the man who he talking to with such a serious and lovely face. In one of the ad, Geico lizard is talking with his friend and the other lizard about the company and then in one moment he is so loud that is really hilarious.
The second important thing for the commercial is that it is easy to remember. Gecko, the other name for the lizard, represents the insurance company ‘’Geico’’ and that is almost the same prononunciation. If you cannot remember the name of the company definitely you will remember the lovely gecko, and that word immediately will lead you to the name of the company Geico. Wow, what a smart idea! Also, he always says ‘’fifteen minutes for fifteen percent of discount on insurance for your car’’ and that is really amusing how they made connection with’’ fifteen minutes for fifteen percent’’. Also, the company has huge billboards all over the country with a cute gecko on them steering at you while you driving from the right side of the billboard. Then, in the middle of that just their internet address, printed clearly and highlighted. Here we go! You cannot skip them! Gecko is there to make you smile and reminds you of the funny things he says in the commercials. His lovely eyes make you feel good.
The third important thing is that all generations love him. Kid’s like that small green mascot with a sympathetic face. Teenagers usually copy his humorous words “Hey, you can now relax and drink tea with your mom, because Geico is here for you…’’.They are trying to copy his funny voice, too. Also, he has a part of the heart of the older generation. No matter how old are you, if you see the commercials you will love him. You will like Geico, too. Marketing people did the great job! Congratulations!
In conclusion, the good commercial is one what make you buy what they offer. Sometimes, annoying commercials can make you want to buy their product too. No matter what you feel about the commercial, the company’s goal is always the same-To sell something! I can just tell that small green lovely gecko did the great job, because now everybody knows what is the best insurance! And…….. What do you think about Geico?
